So the dimsum scene in Singapore is really heating up. There’s the Paradise group, Din Tai Fung, Tim Ho Wan and Imperial Treasure groups. I’m sure there are many others. When Canton Paradise made its debut at Bedok Mall, I was really excited because I was hoping to find an alternative to Tim Ho Wan, which to be honest, isn’t really that good, except for maybe the branch in Plaza Singapura. But the food selection at Canton Paradise was quite lacklustre and their polo bao wasn’t very good. Recently, they seem to have undergone a revamp of sorts and there is now a 50% off dim sum items during teatime on the weekdays. On one of my days off, Mom and I went for their dimsum. I must say, I was quite impressed. Larger selection of items. Cleaner looking menu. The pictures look a lot better too. So easier to pick the stuff we want to try! haha. Definitely worth the visit!
