I just saw this documentary on “health foods“. David Gameau made a documentary about surviving on those so-called “healthy food options” and found that the amount of sugar that was in those healthy foods made him a much less healthy man than when he was on ‘regular food’. But how can that be? Well. Its quite simple really. If you think about the simple physics principle of “energy cannot be created or destroyed”, well, its the same with food. Taste cannot be created or destroyed. You can substitute various ingredients in order to proclaim it as the “healthy option” that does not “sacrifice taste” but the truth of it is that your substituted nutrient may be just as unhealthy as the original nutrient. Its truly a brilliant documentary worth watching. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
