Comic book museum

CIMG2928I saw this cartoon of Toulouse Lautrec sitting in front of the Moulin Rouge painting. I loved it and simply had to take a photo. I saw it at the comic museum in Bruxelles, which by the way, is housed in a gorgeous example of a Noveau Art building. It used to be a warehouse, which was later abandoned and it took a heroic effort by the artists to bring it back to life. A piece of art housing art. What a gorgeous idea.

But the point is, they brought it back to life.

What a wondrous way of documenting how a building was forgotten only to be brought back to life again. Even in the comic book renderings, you can see the art nouveau details of the building.

I've been swinging from place to place looking for new adventures every day.
