You are IT!

So erm, I got blog-tagged by Aequanimitas.  According to the rules, I apparently need to post the rules.  But since I’m a lazy ass, I’m just going to plagarize them completely off the good man himself.  So here it goes:

First, The Rules.

1. I have to post The Rules before I give you the facts.
2. I start with eight random facts/habits about myself.
3. As I have been tagged, I need to write my own blog about my eight things and post The Rules.
4. At the end of my blog, I need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
5. I mustn’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read my blog.

So I think I can follow pretty much most of the rules except for #4.  I don’t know 8 people online.  At least I don’t think so.  But I’ll think about it as I write out these 8 random facts.

#1.

I went to a CHIJ convent school for 10 years.  Yeah. 10 years in a blue pinafore.  Contrary to common belief, we didn’t really have nuns as our teachers (although there are at least 2 or more of them that could probably qualify).

#2.

I kissed my first girl when I was about 10.  I think.  Or maybe it was 8.

#3.

I don’t really like coffee unless its been flavored.  I simply enjoy the sweetness of it all.  And getting a caffeine fix at the same time just seemed like a good way of multi-tasking.

#4.

I took piano and ballet lessons from the age of 4 to 16.  At which point, my parents realised that despite the dreams and hopes, I was musically challenged and it was pointless to keep wasting their cash.

#5.

The first time I cut my hair to a length above my shoulders was when I was in Junior College.  I looked terrible and decided that such a stupid decision would never be made again.  I recently broke that resolution.

#6.

I hate clubbing.  The music is too loud and my eardrums feel like they would break.  And I can’t dance.  I’m a homebody who prefers to be alone at home watching tv and sleeping.

#7.

I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 12.  And I’ve had my prescription filled by the same person since.

#8.

I once quit eating ice cream for 2 years.

ok. So I think at this point, I should tag 8 other people.  So erm, apologies in advance!  Syntaxfree, Akiko, Kulturbrille, Strangeknight, Shoopscoop, Valska (who may not actually know who I really am in real life…but here’s a hint: we went to the same drama school), GregInJapan.  And Aequanimitas, I’m re-tagging you.  I don’t think its against the rules! :)  Phew!  I officially have 8!!!!
